Default Mean Birdies!!!

Can anyone help ???

Birds keep stealing my strawberries! Any tips????

we have netting over them so im confused

this is my first time gardening so any tips on anything is appreachiated

it might be slugs or other insect, not birds, which will be how they get under the netting

I was going to suggest the same - could even be ants, I often find them in the half they have left. Do you have them up on straw or something like that, it may help. I pick them anyway, wash what's left and bung them in the freezer ready to make jam or wine with when I have enough.

How abut getting some of those colorful little plastic wind things which spin around?? I've got those all over my lottie- got them from the pound shop last year.

In fact any sort of scarecrow would be useful. Try stringing a few old CD's together as the sparkle often scares the birds.
Have a chat with your friends and see what you can invent. Remember to take a photo though so we can admire your handiwork!!
