Default Lidl offers 27/04

For anyone who hasn't got around to ordering/growing strawberries yet Lidl have an offer on next week with a 6 pack of strawberry plants in pots for only £3-49 which seems an O.K. price.
They also have clematis plants for £2-99, marguerites for £1-99,mini roses for £1-99 & osteospernums for £1-29.
Also lots of plastic garden furniture & covers on offer & a large patio heater for £79-99.

Just been into Lidl & ended up buying a weather station for £4-99 so that I can tell just exactly how many inches of rain we get here! The stawberry plants that are on offer look lovely, some already in flower & healthy looking plants - at least in our branch- I was tempted to buy but I already have loads so resisted.

Over the last few years, I've kept a close eye on my local DIY shed (B&Q) for cheap plants. After the May bank holiday, they seem to go into panic mode to try to shift plants that they have over-ordered - mostly it is fairly naff bedding, but occasionally........ Last year I was buying well grown, freshly delivered strawberry plants in 3 inch pots (some in flower) for 20p each!!
