Yes I bought one a couple of weeks ago too. Decided I would use it for strawberry plants, the slugs got them all last year in the ground so changing tactics this year and trying to outwit them

How are you planning to grow your strawberries in one gemlady? I thought the same and bought one from Focus before the winter as they had them on offer then too.

I put 3 or 4 grow bags in one to each shelf and planted the top three with strawberries. Unfortunately the combined weight was too much for the frame and it buckled - we had to take two of the bags out and I'm now waiting for the 'other half' to strengthen it up for me.

Take it back they say in the spiel that the shelves take 10kg... your Grow bag should be no where near that.

I spotted these a couple of weeks ago and was not sure what I could use them for, but you have all made me think!

Will get a couple if they still have any, thanks!

They do make great staging in the greenhouse - I used one as a mini greenhouse for 2 seasons before the cover gave up, then I used them as staging last year & they're just coming into use again this year. Absolute bargain

My strawberries are in individual pots, so I was just going to put them on the shelves and hope for the best really. Don't know if it will be successful but may stand a fighting chance of getting at least one bowlful this time.
