Been searching the freeadds etc for composting daleks etc in my area and contrary to popular reports from you people in the big smoke, their rare as rocking horse plop around here .

anyway, appart from one 22 litre i got from gumtree for twelve quid, this is the best deal ive found.

33 litre dalek for £16 , got two delivered for just under £38, not bad at all.

ps, if this post isnt in the right place, apologies :

Jackarmy that's because you is in cow country, town people in the big smoke give up on all that nature stuff and they come up on Freecycle all the time, all 13 out of 14 came from free cycle and the council will drop you one off for a £5 delivery money down here.

We can order compost bins through our council website. I trust this isn't the same for everyone?

It depends if your local council is in the scheme, check your postcode here.

On that link for a 330 litre compost bin in my area it's £9.98 & buy one,get one half price. It says evergreens a sister company, they must make a big profit because they must be getting them cheap the same as the council,is evergreen owned by someone at the council? They should be the same price everywhere?!

It is bad, they're charging that much in Swansea, but for two bins near me £20.95 inc delivery.

I "think" the councils that use "getcomposting" subsidise the cost of the bins somehow. They don't cover my area but my council sells the 330l bins for £7.

Just checked getcomposting and evergreens site both come up with the same price for me, even though it says :-
