  • direct sowing : marking rows

Just a tip, normally with direct sowing and watering afterwards, it is not easy to see where the seeds rows are , I have tried couple of methods to mark the rows.

    1) place a stick at the end/start of each row,
    2) use permanent marker on the edges of the raised bed along the rows.
    3) use a fresh compost for the rows, the color difference will mark the rows..

I put a plant label in by each row so I also know what variety is where.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
