  • Cloches at Poundland

And guess how much they are!!!

Friend of mine works there so I asked him to get me five! They are 1.5 Metres long each. Support wires are threaded through plastic tubes within. No ends for them, but at a quid each, what the heck ?????........ I'm sure I can find a few slates to suffice!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

    Diversify & prosper

bought some of these last year. The plastic is very thin but ok for the spring. Good for warming up the ground. Not very strong for the late season. The wind caused the plastic to rip easily. But for a pound you cant really grumble. Got a much stronger and longer ( sounds like Andrex!) tunnel from Homebase for 9.99 last year and this is still going strong.

Wish I had a poundland near me; I'd be in there before you could say "cloche dosh".

Went into Poundland today but they hadn't got any in my local. Hardly any gardening stuff at all.

yes budmap, i had the same prob. This year i am using hosepipe and doweling and making my own cloches. This allows me to choose the size too.
