  • Cheap gardening books

The W0rks always had good cheap gardening books but this one stood out
Charles Dowdings Veg Journal by Charles Dowding | Best Gardening Books at The Works
I bought one last year - for a lot more than £4. Its a cross between a diary and a book with jobs to do each month and chapters on how to do/sow etc. I haven't the heart to write in mine - its too nice to scribble in

I use a old tatty looking A5 ring binder for my journal but one day I will write in my shiny RHS one.

I'm like that I never write in any of my books. You had to tell me about a good gardening book. I think they are like seeds you can never have too many gardening books

I just use the 'What I did today thread' as an aid to memory for next years planting!
