| Hi, My hubby and I are about to chop down an enormous conifer that stood right in the middle of our garden. In its place we want to build - or have built for us- a natural arbour of some kind. We want it big enough to sit inside. We wanted a willow arbour but it sounds like willow is too invasive. Does anyone have any ideas about what we could use in stead? Does anyone know of any good people who might come and erect something for us? Any ideas... |

| I think it depends on the variety of willow - some are more invasive than others (like bamboo). This link might help: http://willow.lpl.org/willowwork.html I have a living willow fedge, and my mother has a living willow igloo - neither have shown any signs of suckering yet (its only been 2 years tho)
