I found something really good that is 100 times more better than them peat pots (you plant them and thay break down into the soil).

    How2Make - Newspaper Plant Pots

Use them instead - they are more eco friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a good tutorial and I like the idea of using tumblers to make bigger pots than a toilet roll. Its a very simple method and like a 'paper potter' I tried last year. They work well and as long as you make lots of them they'll prop each other up in a tray. I'm definitely going to make some long ones for carrots and parsnips.

This way is perhaps a bit simpler than the previous method from Wizer which (from what I remember) involved folding to get a box shape. I looked for the instructions on Two_Shed's link but they seem to have gone.

Oh, that's a shame. Try this: Newspaper Seed Starter Pots

        or for round ones: http://www.raft.net/ideas/Newspaper%...ing%20Pots.pdf

I started growing veggies by using starter pots made from newspaper.

They are useful to a point, but take it easy on the watering and be gentle with them if you have to handle them when they are wet. As Two Sheds says, you will get some interesting fungal growths too!
