Helloooooooooo.... hope you are all superfine. Haven't posted in a while as six weeks ago we adopted a shelter dog.

Gruff (Welsh, pronounced 'Griff') is a Staffy x Welsh collie x Akita with heterochromatic eyes, a complete superstar who helps me forget I've spent loads of spondulicks for a very small return, harvest-wise .... and no flowers yet....

I've wanted a dog since I was a kid and we finally made it happen. What a life-change Now if only I could train him to operate a watering can!

I'm sure Gruff has his own "watering can" but it may be the wrong sort of water.

What a handsome dog, and what a great name.

If he's anything like one of ours (Barkley - Swiss Mountain dog cross), you won't want him to help you with the watering. Tomatoes and Brussels sprouts get an especially good clean in this household...

My two doggies liberally help me with the 'watering' but don't really do much other damage these days. Effie the rottie used to dig out my raised beds as fast as I was filling them up lol
