  • Chillies under grow light

I have some chilli seedlings in a grow light garden, how big should i let them get before i take them out?

hi,id keep them in there as long as possible ,looks like a good set up ,not sure how much heat the lights give off but you`ll know if they get too close as it may burn the leaves but id think you could get a few months growth before you have to move them out ,cheers

I take plants out when the leaves get near the lights as if they touch the tubes they will scorch.

you can move the lights up and down in the grow light garden - the garland one at least. I keep mine in there till something else needs the space or they are 15cm high. Usually that's around April and they can move to a windowsill before the greenhouse.

Yep as everyone says..as long as possible really, you will eventually need to move them out for something else
