  • Any grapes after everlasting onions?

If anyone would like some everlasting onions please pm me.
Provided you have been a member for at least one month and done 50 posts as per forum rules
They don't look much as it is sleepy season, but they will soon bulk up. For anyone wondering what they are they are a perennial type onion used in a similar way to spring onions.

My everlasting onions arrived this afternoon!
Thank you very much, they were expertly packaged and seem none the worse for their journey.
I'll pot them up and might put them in the unheated greenhouse to keep them out of the wind while their little roots settle in.
                Thanks again Ng,

As Above, thanks for your kindness NG. Mine too came safe and sound.
Do we plant em like leeks in a hole or like onion sets?

You are welcome. Oh and you want to firm them in and make them warm and cosy - to an extent considering the weather. Think chives, welsh onion etc. so not too deep. I hope that makes sense.

Just to let other grapes know, all of these have now been spoken for. All gone!

Tempted, NG, Tempted. But I might, MIGHT I say, have too many onions already.

Are they Welsh Onions, Walking Onions, Perutile or something else?

I'm currently nurturing a small clump of Petition - not a clump that's large enough to start harvesting yet but it is getting bigger (slowly).
