  • Wisdom For The Day

If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each man's life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility
    - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
    Everything is worthy of kindness.

Love and know your ancestors , especially your grandparents. If you don't know where you come from , you don't know where you are,& if you don't know where you are , you don't know where you're going .
If you don't know where you're going ,you're lost and that's never a good thing.

All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing.
If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path.
And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
        Everything is worthy of kindness.

Don't spend your precious time asking "Why isn't the world a better place?" It will only be time wasted.
The question to ask is "How can I make it better?" To that there is an answer
          - Leo Buscaglia

Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind, the second is to be kind, the third is to be kind. Henry James.
The best things in life are not things.

                Good. Quick. Cheap.
Pic any two of the three that's the best you will ever get

I have no desire to move mountains, construct monuments or leave behind in my wake material evidence of my existence. But in the final recollection, if the essence of my being has caused a smile to have appeared upon your face or a touch of joy within your heart, then in living I have made my mark

What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the live we lead
