Runner beans are doing great that I planted in May. Should I be planting some more now, in the hope they go into late Autumn?

If you keep picking your runner beans they will probably carry on anyway. It's only if you stop picking that they stop producing.

Like martin says when they start producing providing you pick regularly then will see you through to the n=end of the season. Make sure you get every single mature pod of or the plant will think its done its job (reproduced) and fail to produce more.

Hi the more you pick the more they keep coming

Last years crop was amazing with a double row of canes 8ft high 15 long my crop was at least 60lb of beans picked.

Tip is when they are at the tops of the canes pinch out to make them bud out further however pick them young and not when they are to long as they do get a bit tough

          Happy gardening
