vegboi - why don't you start a thread of your own, to keep all your allotment posts together - as Sheneval http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ent_68825.html and others have done. Then you'll be able to look back and see all the progress that you've made since you had it.
You can also post what you've done each day here http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...today_512.html

No problems vegboi It would be easier for you to keep all the ideas and advice together in the long run. Its very satisfying to look back and see progress too and others can benefit from the questions that you ask by reading it
We have a few Sticky threads that we all post on that you might like to use too like:-
        http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...today_512.html
        http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ted_32307.html

Would you like me to re-title this thread and you can start from now? If so - shall we call it "Vegboi's allotment"

Promise not to hijack your thread but just wanted to note that VC has wielded her Mods stick in a very positive manner here... Lucky you... The rest of us live in fear..

Well today I made a huge decision and I have up my old, well not so old plot for another one further in to the plot, this came about as I was chatting with the lot holder who had just discovered he has heart problems and cannot continue and he was clearing out everything. I went back to mine and started thinking he has a large greenhouse and small shed and raised beds already in albeit overgrown so I asked how would he feel if I had it. He was over joyed so I rang the trust and they let me swap. I cancelled my shed and I've started work again on another overgrown plot. I've posted a video on my Facebook, marks allotment if you would like to take a look and let me know what you all think. I have used the tonne gravel I got delivered for old plot as paths I between.
