    Has anybody got an experience with Egyptian Walking Onions, would really like to try some.

    I've had mine for a couple of years now they just do there own thing and propagate each year.
    Location....East Midlands.

            I have them and this year they are huge. Very tasty and as said, they do their own thing.

            They came from a local garden show for 50p
            When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
            If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

              Mine have never been huge, more of a novelty really. I may get round to pickling the bulbils if I can be bothered. If anyone wants any, PM me. I think postage was about 69p the last time I sent some out.

                I had some from you last year, Shadylane, and they grew well but didn't produce any bulbils. I'm hoping that next year, when they're more established, they'll do so.

                  Ooh y welcome and thanks again for the leeks They don't do much in their first year, especially if you plan them late. Hopefully next year they'll get their act together
