is it too late to plant some french beans

The slugs have had a feast in my garden overnight and eaten the leaves on my french beans and they now look like they are no good, so is it too late to pot some more.
Off i go to buy slug pellets today.

We direct sowed some runner beans only a couple of days ago, so I'd say go for it.

I'm new at this but am planning on giving them another go after the slugs have got at mine - I put some in pots on my greenhouse about a week ago and am keeping my fingers crossed. I think they need hardening off too but the weather is much nicer now (consistent temp) than when I put the first lot out!

I am going to sow.some more this weekend, although I have Benn saying that for the last three weekends

I sow every four weeks or so right through until the end of July - the last may be too late or may not, depending on the weather.
We have a few slugs here so I never sow direct but plant them out when they can afford to sacrifice a few leaves.

I say sow until the end of July .........you never know what the weathers going to do. Mine were being cropped well into September last year......
