1950's Sci-Fi - The Day the Earth Stood Still - a bit corny now but the acting of Billy Gray as Bobby Benson is really worth seeing.

Or - The Third Man - Orson Welles, Trevor Howard and Joseph Cotton - gripping stuff.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - child catcher still scary. Barefoot in the Park is another one I enjoy when it's on. Another vote for Love Actually.

I love The Abyss too, seen it 3 times and I hate scuba diving - tried it once, scared me to death, won't be doing that again (and my Brother and SIL are instructors)
                Erm, where was I!
Close encounters of the third kind is my all time favourite, queued 3 times round the Odeon in Reading to see it. Next, Contact then it's a wonderful life.

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Only film to ever have made me scream out loud in the cinema

Never really got why you'd want to watch any film again and again, there are so many films out there to watch but if you've seen them before you know the twists and punchlines etc so I think there are probably only about 2 or 3 films I've ever watched more than once. There are loads that I've enjoyed and liked but don't do faves.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
