whats the best way to store garlic. i pulled up my harvest this morning

Dry thoroughly and string like onions? Maybe chain knotting in some tights so you can cut off a bulb when you want?
I never could store mine as it always has onion rot! So mine gets peeled and frozen as soon as possible!

I always plait mine. Leave them to dry for a few days, then trim off the roots, take off any loose skin/leaves and brush the dirt off. Then firmly plait about a dozen together at a time, incorporating a length of string to hang them by at the end.
