  • Birds eye chillies

I have managed to get some seed to germinate. It didn't come from a packet but from dried chillies so there are no cultural instructons

Do I treat them as ordinary chillies which I grow sucessfully out of doors or do they need special treatment?

    Help pleeeeeeeeeese

Over here, they would be a greenhouse job to guarantee a good crop but if your weather is good enough they will be fine.

Beware birdseye chillies are very hot and if you grow them in really poor soil or used compost they have the potential to become atomic.

I grow chillies outside here so you should OK outside for growing on. I don't usually start until about March though so you would probably need to keep them indoors until then.
