  • Strawberries in with rasberries?

Is this ok? My strawbs were very pot bound in thier modules, so I bungee them in the rasberry bed. I've not mulched the bed with manure or anything yet, keep forgetting !

I know I'll prob forget any leave them there so wondering if they'll be ok? Not expecting a crop from them this year as they were so pot bound.

I've got strawberries and raspberries in the same bed - they're fine so far. I think it depends on which way the bed faces - the rasps get very dense and might block the sun a bit, unless the strawbs are on the south facing side. They'll probably need a bit of liquid feeding when they're flowering as well.

I never feed my strawberries-if they get too much goodness, everything goes into leaves but not fruit. You might get a couple of fruit this year

bed faces eastish, up against a wall, the bed gets the sun until 12-1ish, so hoping to train the rasberries up and along/over the wall.
