  • How do I take cuttings from respberries please?

Rather than buy yet more canes, I'm wondering if I can just take cuttings from my existing canes - I have early and late varieties.

Can someone give me beginners instructions how and when I can do this please?

    Many thanks

You'll find that they will throw up ever more shoots each year. Those new shoots can be dug up and planted again at the time of pruning.

Does it matter which ones i dig up (ie summer or autumn)?

and do i have to cut them back or anything?

          To paraphrase slightly

"Leave them, and they will grow"

Exactly as Capsid has said, you will find new shoots every year, which can either just be left to grow in amongst the current canes, or you can take them out and plant them elsewhere.
