Hi, first year I have grown, so probably some more expert advice, but I started off in little seed tray, then moved up to 3", thinking I then went straight to their final home, one plant per pot - it's about 9". They were courgette zucchini. Don't need lots of plants, they are plentiful in amount courgettes they produce.

Lots of different types - can have diff colours, shapes.

Courgette seeds I sow straight into 3" pots. Then transplant into their final home. You would need I would think at least a 9" pot. They can also be grown in troughs or grobags.

This year I grew Striata d'Italia and they are producing loads - I've always found courgettes to be good producers but this is the first year I've had a 'glut.'

They grow long and fairly thin, good shaped courgettes. I can recommend this variety.

I planted them from 3" pots out to the ground - I felt the plants get too big for pots, but I reckon a really large pot or one of those big plastic trugs would hold them.

I'm growing a climbing courgette next year called "BLACK FOREST".

If it out grows the 15 liter pot.. you can always transplant it in to a bigger one.
