  • Ladybirds eating asparagus grubs?

Do they? Save me a lot of squashing if they do!

Well they're not strictly just aphid eaters as some eat scale insects and others eat plants and mould I believe but I'm not sure if grubs come into their menu. Maybe if aphid were scarce but thats not really an issue (or least not here)

check out: Untitled Page for more information and how to spot immature and adult varieties.

And do the survey please, the ladybird is seriously under threat at the moment and all help is greatly appreciated

Well they sure like my asparagus ferns and there are definitely less asparagus beetle grubs/slugs around - always nice to see the ladybird hurrah.
By the way my seeding parsley is COVERED in copulating soldier beetles!
