  • White Beetroot

I went to my beetroot last night and all seemed wll. However I have a white one. Everything looks OK but the leaves have not red veins, just pale green. Do white beetroot exsist,(sp?) or do I have something weird?

      White Beetroot

Thanks two-sheds. I just knew you would be first to answer. When I dig it up and deal with it, I'll look out for the rings.
There must have been one stry seed in the pack of Boltardy.

I am growing whites, pinks, orange and red beets. They're yum raw or cooked.

I always grow white ones. With my sloppy grandkids it saves on the soap powder.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Chioggia bootroot, my new favourite bootroot; we have decided tonight [me and the OH] to only grow this in future.....he doesn't like too much and it is milder and much less messy than usual bootroot.

This taken tonight, and just eaten in a hot chilli, bootroot and onion medley. YUMMY.

That's an interesting looking knife, Zazen, I'm intrigued to know what it is made of !!!!!

                    Metal and plastic...

We bought a pink one of these

Colori Paring Knives- Lakeland, the home of creative kitchenware

Then found a blue one and red one [in the photo] for half the price in the cook shop.

                    So, we now have 3.

[the colours mean nothing to me as I'm veggie and only veg gets chopped in our house.]
