    help in getting rid of black fly please

    squish/spray with weak washing up liquid/spray with hose.

      I have the blighters on mine also - the ants are farming them big time!! I just squish with my fingers, but then I'm 'aaaarrd

        As the girls suggest above.
        From the other part of the garden:my rose was very badly hit by greenfly(I know it's not the black one) and I planted some lavender plugs beside it(about an inch tall).After a few days the greenfly decided to go elsewhere.
        Maybe you could try even placing a pot of lavender beside the beans-lavender is described as "bug repellent"
