  • Anyone Grown Peanuts Before?

I planted some this year and they've not yet died. I did get a small yellow flower at the base of both plants (or was that a weed ) .

I've done my usual and thrown away the packet - anyone know when I lift them? he plant seems heathly etc. Do they need to come up before the frosts etc or are they quite happy in the ground (okay then.... bin bag )

Must be my youth (ha ha ha I wish) but I have never ever thought of where peanuts come from. I just open a packet and their there.
Also can only have them when I don’t want OH to come near me…… he has peanut allergy and effects him even if he gives me a kiss.

A friend once bought me a grow your own peanut 'kit', but my dog ate the peanut before I could plant it.

Cheers Nick... How come I never seem to find anything useful myself...?

Mind you, this is based on having the same weather as Carolina!
