My 2 year old Blueberry plant was potted up in a large container in ericaceous soil,i have only used rainwater when watering it.It seemed to be doing quite well and looked healthy enough, but it has now started to fall over the side of the tub just like a tumbler Tomato, i am wondering if this is normal? and if not what i should do about it ,any ideas ? When you say it has toppled over do you mean the whole plant has toppled or is it just the side shoots growing downwards. If the whole plant has toppled then there must be something wrong with the roots for it not to be supporting itself. If that is the case then the first thought would be vine wevile as they can completely decimate a plants roots. Haven't known them to attack blueberries but you never know. If it is the side shoots trailing down then the answer would be pruning and training.
