  • Help - Greenfly on Greenhouse Strawberries

Eek I have just found greenfly on my strawberry plants in the greenhouse.

What is the best organic way to get rid. I have got some homemade garlic spray that I have been using for blackfly on my broad beans (with great effect) - can I use this?

Squish them with your fingers (use rubber gloves if you're squeamish). Failing that use your garlic spray.

This has to be the most-asked question at the moment.
The advice for greenfly, blackfly, all aphids is the same for whichever plant they are colonising ... squish them with your fingers. It is quicker, simpler and cheaper than spraying.

Good one. Keep at it though ... new flies will come in, until the plant is too tough to suck on.
