    If you have seedling tomatoes that are a bit leggy, here is the method to plant them deeper using the Trench Method.

    Blimey! Those are seriously leggy tomatoes! lol!

    Interesting technique, but I don't agree that tomatoes "like" their roots near the surface of the soil - in my experience it is better to keep the roots cool and moist by burying the plant vertically on planting. The difference between shallow growing (say in a grow bag) and deep planting is significant in terms of watering and particularly blossom end rot problems.

    We need a volunteer for a controlled experiment
