  • What would you call this tool...

    I made this from a 14 tine cheap rake head off ebay and a broom handle out of a skip.

    The idea being rather than a single long drill, I can stand in one position and 4.5m drill in one swipe.

    The two little tines together are really handy for dragging stones off your seed bed.

    Q: What would you call this tool ?

                      I always grow my onion sets in two rows 6 inches a part then a narrow pathway ad infinitude.

                      You have just given me the idea of using a two pronged muck spreader for the rows width.....then again ,maybe not.

                          A couple of years back, the late great Potty shared some pictures with me of some old garden tools and one of those was a four tine'd fork, used by farm labourers to replicate early seed drill machines. It never caught on then and I doubt it will now

                              "Peggy smiller" tool working well so far, when you use this tool the results make you smile...
