Default Peppadew pepper seed

Having successfully grown original peppadew seeds last year in order to crop the seed.

I now have a little seed to distribute freely to others. This seed cannot be bought as it is trademarked both as a plant and a product.

Please pm me if you would like some, there will only be a few seeds each and it is on a strictly, first come first served.

Would love some Piglet, but not more than 4 seeds. Two to grow and two in case of greedy slugs!

Thanks
Tricia

Bloomingbethan, I have seeds for tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, beans, peppers and all sorts. You'd be welcome to a few of each if you want to try them experimentally without lashing out on all kinds of seed. If you're interested, PM your address and I'll send them off to you.

Did you pickle your crop Piglet? If so - successfully - I'd love some too.

Many, many thanks Pigletwillie - seeds just this minute received. Should I wait a couple more weeks before sowing them in modules in a heated propagator, then into GH kept at 10C minimum - or can I sow them now?

Tricia

Rutters,

go into Tesco, look where all the pickles are, find the jars of

"peppadew piquant pickkled peppers" (I kid you not)

Buy a jar and after eating a few decide if you want to grow some yourself!

Definitely a greenhouse job, they grow about 4' tall and need heat to turn Red.

Hello Piglet,

I've been wanting to grow these peppers for some time now. I have loved them since the first time I tried them. I would love a few of your seeds if you have any. I'm not sure if it is a problem to mail them overseas. Give me your thoughts.

Thank you.

Default Helloo to all!!

Hi Pigletwillie and all,

this is my first post as I only discovered the Grapevine today - hurray - a spiritual home for modern day Tom & Barbara Good's like me & my hubby! Really chuffed to stumble across y'all.

If you have a couple of the outrageously tasty Peppadew seeds left please, Pigletwillie, I would be unbelievably grateful, as I have been googling for ever (seemingly) without joy! As I love pickling and jamming - these would be ideal and I could try to grow some for more seed to offer back here next year.

I can offer you or anyone else who would like them some californian poppy seeds, aquilegias by the million (ok, slight exaggeration!), some white and some dark blue agapanthus (be aware newbies to ag. - they take years to grow into flowering specimens), and will post when I locate some other seeds I saved.

Can't wait to chat to all of you & swap hints & tips too...

Cheerio,
Reb

Welcome to the Vine Reb. Look forward to hearing what you are growing. I'm sorry I have none of the Peppadew seeds left, but someone might have a few.
