After the seriousness of that politics thread (I still dunno why I got involved in it) I feel like giving stuff away!

I have no idea whether they are any use now or how best to deal with them (see this thread if you can help on that front) but I've got a fair few Jerusalem Artichokes on the plot and about 10 in a bag here. They all have sprouts about 2 inches long.

If you're in or passing through Manchester I'll be happy to meet up somewhere convenient and hand them over, otherwise I'll send them out for P&P at cost. (I'd do that for free too but quite frankly, I'm skint and can't afford it.)
They weigh in at about 50 grams a tuber and would go 1st class (will post 2nd class if you prefer) I reckon about £3 ish for 6 should cover the postage.

Post here or PM me if you'd like some.

Up to 100g (about 2 or 3 tubers) would be around £1.50 p&p.
Up to 250g (probably 4 or 5 tubers) would be around £2 p&p.
Up to 500g (probably 9 or 10 tubers) would be around £2.50 p&p.
Up to 750g (probably 14 or 15 tubers) would be around £3 p&p

If I've got a suitable box and padding around here I'll send it in that and do the postage at cost - but I'm not sure that I have. I'll try to find some if anyone is interested.

Organic, you offer sounds too good to miss
I am surprised you have not had loads of takers - perhaps people dont know what they're missing

I should probably point out that I don't have a massive supply of the things. I've put up the postage costs above so people can get an idea of what it might cost - I can't promise I'll be able to meet a flood of requests for 20 tubers each!

Later today I'll be popping to the allotment to dig a few up and post them out... does anyone else want some while I'm there? There should be enough to fulfil a few other requests if so.
