Hello and welcome to the vine. Thanks for sharing the pictures, they are lovely. Look forward to hearing more about what you grow. Sorry, can't help with flower seeds, just getting to grips with veggies personally. ![]()

Hi and welcome to the vine - everyone is friendly and helpful here, I've found!! I have some aquilegia - all different sorts - foxgloves, lupins, cosmos, hollyhocks, poppies etc. Probably more if I stop and think about it, many of which I don't even know the names of! I work in a country house, and tend to go round the garden collecting seedheads at the end of the summer. PM me with what you'd like and I'll see what I can do... ChocClare

Hi - Thanks for the nice welcome, I grow the flowers and the other half grows veg. This was his first year for veg. He grew Parsnips, carrots, onions (too wet though for them), broccoli, turnips, swede, Jerusalem artichokes, spring onions, mange tout (yum), oh lots of potatoes, tomatoes - but we put them in buckets and they were not as successful as we had hoped, but we did lean a lesson, Cannot remember what else but it was a great summer and he was very proud because it was his first year and we were late with everything. In the flower gardens we grew Danish Poppy, Lots of Dahlias since I propagated them early and grew them on by cutting the stem, My Zinnias failed due to wet weather, I also grew Gazinias, Chrisanthums, Lots and lots of Callendula, Marigolds both african and french, Night Scented stock, 10 week stock, Cosmos - but cannot ever get seeds from them - in particular this year i grew the chocolate one, lots of Fuschias, Evening Primrose, The garden at the moment is flowering with: lots of primula, Antirrhinum, a bush lupin that seems to be growing across the ground, Winter kale, Callendula believe it or not, Lavender - still has flowers, Cyclamen, Nigella, Anemone, Broom - (Actually I have some lovely broom seeds but no photos - will have to take some during the summer), believe it or not but the self seeded Agereatum Blue Mink is growing through the frost! we had a lot this summer, theres tons more but i have been taking photos of the garden since photography is a hobby also, one of the dogs planted a few slives of bread beneath my precious Eryngium and so it did not last, the hostas keep coming back but do not do well, we both love Hucheras, and have the plum pudding and the new lime one, and out "thing" at the moment is Cornus or Dogwood in Winter fire. And there is a lot of animals: dogs x 6, cats by who knows, birds who we feed by the dozen hourly, crows who ate all my snowdrops so i have none left! the field mice ate all my crocus's last year so this year they are planted so well they might never come up. The hares are so big and so healthy but sure why would they not be! LOL. Last year we went to Amsterdam, and the Keukenoff and ordered hundreds of bulbs, so in the spring we are looking forward to the colours, the other half also got enamoured with Alliums and so we have a lot of different types including the Globemaster. So watch this space for colours, or i will be looking for new homes for the dogs, LOL.
