hi, i was lucky to inherit jerusalem artichokes on my plot and have harvested them for six years now. i find they do spread but are easily dug up and kept under control also they grow quite tall about 5ft. they taste nice and now i want to try and grow the chinese ones... i have loads too so if you still want some tubers let me know and we can arrange sending/collecting them. i live in walsall and would be willing to post a few... oh i dont know what type they are?? good luck
