Grow Your Own Magazine

This is my second year of growing veg and would like to grow a large number of herbs too this year.

I have looked on numerous websites and am going to order a bunch of seeds having already bought a few plants last weekend to start the new site off when it warms up a touch.

The designated site is approx 10-15ft by 5-6ft and is a mixture of sunny and shaded by a shed so hopefully most types could be accomodated.

However, today I stumbled across this forum and had an idea to post a request for any herb seed or even plants that would accompany the herb bed well. If you put in the packaging the name of the herb and a slip containing your address I will then send you an envelope back containing some seed in return.

I think this idea could potentially create some very interesting herb/veg gardens as i would hope to receive some unusual varieties i may not have thought of as i am still inexperienced to a large extent.
