I did reply this a.m. offering to start a second box and send it to the person halfway down the list but it seems to have disappeared!
I was thinking that the original box, as well as taking it's time to get around would maybe get a bit heavy.
Good idea or not?

Hi Two Sheds,

Is there a list inside of who has had the parcel already?

I think what happens (correct me if I'm wrong Two Sheds) is that Two sheds has sent out the parcels to the first 2 people he has chosen from the thread.

There is a list in each parcel which that person then ticks themselves off on when they receive the parcel. They then check the thread to see who's next. They PM that person for their address (that way that next person can say if they are still interested, or if they have already received the other parcel and don't need/want to be done again). The sender adds the next receipients name to the list and puts it in the parcel with the new seeds and off it goes...

What a lovely idea Two Sheds! Sadly my seed collection is pretty meagre/boring to join in this time (1st year proper on allotment).

Loved the seed envelope templates, I've printed a load out and will be sorting out what I have got tonight - cheers

Poor Zazen, maybe the one who currently has the other one TS sent out could send on to Z so she doesn't miss out, it will save TS having to go through the process all over again

Default Just to say hi!

Hi all I have been reading all your messages what a great bunch you all are! Love the idea of the seed parcel 2 sheds! I would love to join if poss, and it would be my pleasure to add to the seed collection and play pass the parcel! LOL I'm still a kid at heart and love what to me is anything new, that includes new ideas and peep's to get to know, even if only online!

Hi peeps. I'm not having a moan happy to wait my turn!! I'm just letting peeps know im still looking to get one of the seed parcels please. I will delete all of this message when have had my turn and will also say who I have passed it on to! I hope you get what your looking for! Thanks peeps!! Edited on 30/09/08.

I am newly registered to this site today but have been reading from here on and off over the last couple of weeks or so since I stumbled on the site when looking for information! The internet is a great place to learn things and make new friends I have recently had my gardening interests re-awoken, has been a few years since I either had the time or could be bothered with much gardening.

With the cost of food now so high, also finding that I have a little more time on my hands than I used to, I have decided it is time to try some home grow veggies in my greenhouse & garden next season. I have a few bits on the go now but am more than likely well behind the rest of you! Any help or tips will be gratefully accepted as am no past master or should I say mistress of gardening! lol thanks a lot peeps!!

I'm at work now peeps so might not be able to reply on the spot if anyone messages me! I will check in from time to time, and always try to respond to peeps as soon as I can!

Wishing you all an Irie = Good, Cool, Happy week
xx Jan

I've never seen one of these in 'action' to know how they normally run but otherwise how about T_S or one of us mods editiing the first post with 'done' and 'sending to' one it so we can kepp track, it might get a bit long but I recon that anyone newly popping onto the thread will read the first post and skip the rest of the replies anyway?

Have recived the parcel, taken out, put in and am now sending it on to Topaz.I have adopted Two Sheds idea of dividing packets up into small envelopes so the seeds can go around a bit further.
