| Hi Scared55, Never tried it raw, never even thought about it! The shop bought ones always seem to tough! But now that I have fresh ones I will be trying it. Thank you, Mandy

| I should try that next year. Whilst living in Tanzania it was common (with maize) to peel the leaves back, remove the silks, replace the leaves and bung the whole thing on the fire, so it cooks in its own juice. That is now a favourite at barbies, although it does come second to raw (IMHO). KK |

| Eaten raw within seconds of picking is the only way I like them. Yum! ![]() I treat myself to one each time I visit my lottie and throw the husk to the hens and ducks next door! Not much corn left on the cob for them I'm afraid when I'm finished, in fact it takes a lot of control to ration myself to one-a-day!
