    Yesterday i bumped into Andrew, who keeps chooks too (and sold us his house ) Now last year i bought a pair of buff orpington bantys off him, and a pair of cuckoo maran banty, who are very nice birds.
    Except that while chatting to him and saying they were doing well, it came out that they are cuckoo wyandottes
    Good job I found out before I shoved em in a show

    Must improve my chook recognition..
    Anyone who says nothing is impossible has never tried slamming a revolving door

      wyandottes,the bird of curves,nice birds,i have to silver pencilled wyandottes and white one,really like the partridge wyandotte aswell,never seen a cuckoo wyandotte could you post a piccy?
      totally mad on growing veg and keeping bantams!!!!

          gold laced wyandotte piccy. behind her is a barnevelder. we have loads of GLW eggs in the incubator this year. seems to be the first girl performing consistently at the moment. she will probably go off lay by april and give us nothing till next year knowing my luck!

                  hahaha - you wait until you see the gold laced cochins! 26" of lacing, and fluffy feet to boot! they are currently only a week or two old but they already promise to be stunners!!!

                              here's a picture of the potential parents. there are only a few lines of these currently so these adults are definately related!
