  • OMG!!...mouse v hen

Just seen one of my hens with a dead mouse in her beak running away from the other chooks.

I know they do this- but it's the first time I've actually seen it!

What with the cat and the chooks they are doing a grand job of keeping the mouse numbers down

I saw that last year, one of mine just gobbled it up quick while legging it across the pen - the others in hot pursuit!

yeh..it was like a scene from Benny Hill!

At first I thought it might have been a slow moving frog...but by heck can a mouse shift when being pursued!!

Our cat brought us his first mouse today. Makes a change from sticks, leaves, rubber gloves and even a cigarette lighter once.

Yes it was. Our neighbours are used to regular garden raids and now come round if they have "lost" anything.

I wonder if you could be done for receiving stolen property?
