For those that didn't know, we lost Lizzie just over a week ago(we think it was the strain of laying huge eggs that did it, she was fine, layed an egg, got up and never made it out of the run). DD was beside herself. We promised her we would get some more girls. We got them last Saturday and they've settled in well. They have almost fuly intergrated into our old flock of 3. The First three pics are of Sky (Coral Reef), Lightning (Sussex Ranger), Storm (Heritage Skyline) and then of Nando and Noodle making sure we did a proper job of planting those seeds (so that they can eat the plants later!)

They're beautiful! Sorry to hear you lost Lizzie, that must have been really sad for you. We'll have to compare notes as they grow up, they're about the same as mine-race for the first egg!!!

Apparently I can have to wait for the skyline to be up to 28 weeks before she starts to lay, so I think you'll win lol

It was, Lizzie bless her was the ex-batt with the most feathers when we got them....

I've got mine sorted now. However, when Topaz's bit of overgrown beak wears off and her scruffy tail feathers grow back she'll be hard to tell from Ruby. She's definitely the scruff-bag of the group!

lol Hayley.... they squabble over pasta in the same way

We looked around and in comparison to most places, their prices were almost reasonable! For anyone with little ones, Sky the Coral Reef is so placid and friendly! she lets my 4 yr old pick her up and give her cuddles all the time. She also enjoys sitting on my lap and in the evenings, she's even falllen asleep on my lap . I also was hoping that as they're younger, we won't have too many tears in the near future.
