A much happier day today! went out to get two new girls as poor scarlet was very mournful this morning, here they are!

she's got lovely eye lined eyes but don't know what breeds went into her, any ideas?!!

Had news of Mr Darcy tonight as his new owner turned up with his stud guinea pig (Miguel)he'd taken a shine to my daughters GP and wanted to put them together and then keep the babies himself, pearl looked a bit sirprised but hey, you've got to know how to sieze the day! Anyway he told me that Mr D tries to sleep on his doorstep at night and he has to pick him up every night and put him in the henhouse he is apparently 'scared' of the hens who boss him about, the man thinks he's lovely, said he was a real old softy ???????? can anyone understand this? but the only thing I can say is that he's picked him up right from the start and stroked him so maybe that's all he needed...rather him than me though!!

What I want to know is about Mr Darcy, I wasn't kidding about his changed personality with his new owners, what could explain it?

I think you have to shrink the photos to a suitable size - at least that's the only way I can get them on here.
I wonder if Mr Darcy is seeing the new owner as the dominant cockerel? So he's now in a lower position in the pecking order?
