Ditto - I have four all piled up in the nestbox. As they are not sitting on any eggs they are brooding each other, which looks absolutely ridiculous. When I checked on them last night the most serious one had a hen under each wing, her little wings stretched out completely horizontal to accommodate them!Comment

Kevnsue, I'd offer to let you borrow my homemade one that I'm not using, but I think its too much of a trek for you to come and get it. Well over an hour, maybe nearer two?

I have often thought about it after having the blues brothers and think that maybe I could handle the extra boy's if need be. If you don't mind me borrowing it, i'd love to give it a whirl.
If that's ok with you, i'll pm you my addy and you can come meet my girlie's too.
The hubby is gonna kill me, but i'm sure he will fall in love with them as much as I already have (oh god, they aren't even here yet and i'm getting broody ).

It won't be Weds now as I lack petrol money, but am coming over Sunday instead.. That way I can pop in to see my dad too
