Hi everyone,
I'd like to get an incubator & hatch some eggs. Born & raised on a farm we always had chickens (my mum still has them).
Anyway now a townie I'd like my children to see how its all done - last time I hatched chicks I was in my late teens (some 20 years ago!!!) so I'm a little rusty!. So where do I start?? I don't really want the full expense of buying everything new as we will probably only do it a couple of times so was wondering if it is possible to hire them? what about eggs where do I look for them? (my mum only has hens - her oldest is 11!!!!!
).
Anyone have any help/advice?
I'm in Colchester Essex but happy to travel essex/suffolk (we also travel to Norfolk every few weeks)
