    Hutch to coop?

    Hi
    I'm hoping to convert (or rather watch my husband convert) a large guinea pig hutch into a coop. Has anyone done this and can you please share any tips?
    What is the ideal height for the run?

    I'm not very good on DIY but I thought I'd respond and some of the grapes who likes to weld hammers may give a better answer!!

    Height of the run could just be around 3ft if it's covered but you need to gain access for cleaning, collecting eggs etc. you wouldn't want to be lifting it several times a day.

    A friend kept 3 bantams in a concerted rabbit hutch, height in that was a problem as they like to perch, depends really on what your hutch is like, how many birds you want and what breed you are hoping to get.
    Photos and rough measurements would help. Perhaps BB will answer!
