  • Hen Rescue

Hello everyone, Hen rescue in bedfordshire has sent an email about golden pheasants and rarer ones needing homes - im up for this as i have plenty of (secure) room in the run.

I grew up on a farm open to the public, and we had golden pheasants, but i cant remember what their personalities are like! can anyone remind me?

Also has anyone been to this rescue place and will i end up coming away with other feathered friends?

I am due to pick up some new rescues on the 29th as well, yay

I'm not sure if this the same on I used recently.

I just got my last set of girl's from Free At Last in Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire
It is run by a lovely lady named Linda. I'm not certain if she does other bird's or not, but if your interested I can pass you her details if you want some ex-batts.

Can you keep them with Chooks? Do they lay regularly?

Ignore me, I'm not having any!

            Why am so far away
Ive always wanted golden pheasants. If they are like ordinary pheasants they are nutters that rocket skyward when startled and break their necks on the pen roof. Oh yes and commit suicide by hurling them selves off drystone walls directly in front of your car Although I suppose that last one is unlikely for you
