Yep I had committed to them before getting the newies last week so they'll be here on Tuesday - at least it'll give Feisty and Jade a break - being Banties they are easily intimidated by the ex-bats.

LOL @ CB and Hayley ... at this rate you'll have to register with DEFRA!

CB I definately think you should lay claim to them as your mom's getting too close the magic 50 number

just read CB is broody! then re-read it! Phew!

Even so... still think CB should lay claim to the new girls

Sooo.... how long before you get more than 50?

                    I don't think so - 50 - no way

Anyway we don't want to breed as I don't think CB would be too happy with what would happen to the boys...........

Ummmmm, weellll - Aunty Mo what ARE you gonna do with the boys?????

Cause if you can then I'm sure I can bring myself to although having bought the subject up with His Lordship he said there's no way he's gonna do it

                          Anyway confession time............

2 Bluebelles (one with a slightly golden chest)
a Cou Cou Maran who is a tough cookie already and has hairy outers to the legs but bald inside the legs - weird
and a Red Rock that's black with a green sheen like Jade but a red chest

Fiesty is loving the fact that she's no longer bottom of the order and has been bossing the new biggies around already, soooooo funny

I'd offer to help with the cockerel question (as in turning into dinner), but distances are a bit much!

I've just got to be strong and stick to what I said I was going to do in the first place - eat the boys! Besides the fact that out of the 8 Wellies that hatched back in March, 2 were boys and 6 girls - I've already sold one of the boys and a girl, and 2 more girls are being sold to a lady in London this week. I'll keep Rowan 'cuz he's gorgeous and he's my very first chick to hatch and he's really lovely and and and .......................

Anyway - some other news ..................... think I'll start another thread so as not to highjack this one
