Default Good News cockerel lovers

Hello everyone i have just had some good news I have managed to swap my two cockerels for two hens the only slight problem is my cockerels were eight weeks old and the hens the young man swapped are sixteen weeks old but they seem to be getting on fine with my one remaining eight week old hen touch wood, when i went to check on them last night they where all sitting on a perch not in there nest boxes is this the norm?
any help much appreciated

Great news about the doodley-doos. Don't know if that is the norm with chooks but suspect the age difference will mean they will integrate more quickly as the younger one won't be any threat to the older ones. Hope it stays quiet.
