Does anyone know where I can get flubenvet 2.5% Intermediate Medicated Premixture?
I've run out and need more. But I can't find it anywhere.
I do not want flubenvet 1%. I would need more than one 60g tub ( this is only enough to worm 19 birds ) for every worming as I have 21 birds (26 in 8 days time) even more if I have any fertile egg in a month ( fingers crossed )
Anyone got any ideas where I can find some? Thank you

Yes, I just looked. It's always difficult to get hold of at this time of year. Have you thought of using the medicated feed SP?

Not available on the island. Delivery is extortion. I've looked into it in the past.

Looks like it's no longer available without a vets prescription.

Are you coming to Rhyll soon SP ? Presumably you will be in the car ? If so you could pop down the road a bit to Farm and Pet Place, Rhuddlan Roundabout, Abergele, Conwy LL22 7HZ. they keep bags of Marraiges medicated feed, there is a click & collect option on their website .... I get the prescription from the vet (script costs £11.20) order online and upload the prescription -even adding in the £11 it was much cheaper than buying direct from the vet. Looks like I'll have to buy medicated feed.

Unfortunately only in the car at Christmas when I go to Rhyl. On the train the rest of the time. Other half has to stay here and look after my animals ( I don't drive anymore). Farm & pet place used to deliver to the island for a very reasonable price. Now they are extortionate like everyone else. But I do like going to the one mentioned when I get the chance.

I will look into doing that. Thank you. But I haven't even found the 2.5% stuff online where a prescription is needed. It seems to of vanished off the face of the earth.

So how often do you lot worm you chickens? Do you do them every 3 months with the 3 week follow up course?
If I do that using the 1% stuff I'm going to need 3 tubs of it which is going to work out at £70+ (cheapest I can find). I love my chickens, turkeys soon to be geese but F...ME ! That's a lot of money on one course of wormer.
So any suggestions welcome. Obviously it has to be flubenvet it's the only stuff that works. Not giving my babies any of that herbal rubbish

I do every 3 or 4 months (depending when I get around to it!) I've never done a follow up course. Have you asked your vet for a price on the 2.5 stuff? Are you sure it's just been stopped as there always is a problem getting hold of some in Spring.
I don't believe those herbal ones work either.
