Default electric netting

do you reckon I could use my horse fence electrifyer on the poultry netting? it would make things alot cheaper for me, have asked the electrik fence direct but whilst waiting for their reply, I wanted to know what you electrifiers thought it's a standard electric fence box 12volts with an adjustable current strength whizzy whatsit, it's brand new as some joker pinched mine from one of my fields during the snowey weather

I think the energisers are pretty standard so it should work. Mine runs 4000 - 6000 volts through the netting depending how recently the battery has been charged.
May be best to wait till you hear from the fencing folk though - Im no expert

I second G4, my horses have lecci fence, run on 12v battery, and if theres a patch fenced off at the buildings for any reason it keeps chooks out as well as horses.
